Wednesday 12th Aug - Sandown 6.00

A disappointing run from the last selection albeit I was a little concerned about the high draw as a clear run from the back was required and this didnt really happen on the night!

So its off to sandown on the sprint track where a high draw tends to be favoured in most races. In the 6.00 race all four previous winners came out of one of the highest three stalls.

Of the three 'contenders' Commander Wish has been off the boil for a while and has only won previusly on sand or in Yorkshire. Kyllachy Storm is something of a Bath specialist and appears best over 6 Furlongs nowadays. My selection therefore is EVEN BOLDER (currently about 11/2) who has won at the track and is on a winning weight again.

The RP has napped Royal Intruder (stall 10) although I am prepared to take this one on as it carries 5lbs more than its previous handicap win albeit its two wins at the track do make it an interesting contender.
